Complementary therapies

Complementary therapies care for your emotional and psychological wellbeing, as well as your physical condition.

By choosing a therapy to suit their personal needs, many people can feel they regain some control over managing their health.

We support out-patients, in-patients, family members, carers, and bereaved people.

Complementary therapies may help to:

  • improve energy levels
  • support with breathlessness
  • reduce anxiety and stress
  • help with medication side effects
  • help with relaxation
  • improve mood
  • aid sleep

Following a one-to-one assessment, we can offer massage therapy, aromatherapy massage, reflexology, Indian head massage, relaxation therapy, the HEARTS process (Hands on, Empathy, Aromas, Relaxation, Texture and Sounds), ‘M’ Technique®, and reiki.
