World Cup Sweepstake
The 2026 World Cup kicks off on Thursday, 11 June and you could make every match matter by running your own sweepstake in support of St Richard’s Hospice.
It’s a fun and easy way to bring friends, family or colleagues together, while raising vital funds to help provide free care and support for patients, their loved ones and bereaved people across Worcestershire.
How to host your World Cup Sweepstake for St Richard’s
- Request your World Cup Sweepstake Kit using the form above. Once registered and you have received your kit, choose where you’ll host your sweepstake – at work, with family and friends, or as part of a community group.
- Decide how much each entry will cost. A simple set amount, such as £5 or £10 per team, makes it easy for everyone to take part.
- Agree in advance how the money will be split. For example, you might give 25% to the winner and donate 75% to St Richard’s Hospice.
- Draw the teams at random so it’s fair for everyone. You can cut out the team names from your kit and draw them from a hat.
- Using the trackers in the kit, add the individual’s name against each team, and to build excitement and share updates during the tournament, don’t forget to use the A3 match tracker so everyone knows who’s playing who.
- Once the tournament ends, announce the winner, hand over any agreed prize money, and send in your donation to St Richard’s.
