Broadway Marathon & Half Marathon
Sunday, 16 November 2025
The Broadway Marathon / Half are single-stage, looped trail races that take place along public rights of way. The races start and finish in the beautiful village of Broadway, Worcestershire. The half marathon is a 13.2 mile circular route while the full Marathon is laid out as 2 loops in a figure of 8.
St Richard’s Hospice has 2 charity places within each distance that we are offering out to our supporters.
In return, we ask runners to raise a minimum of £350 for the 13.1 distance and £600 for the full 26.2 mile route.
To apply for a place please complete the form below and for more information please email appeals@strichards.org.uk
Please bear in mind this is mainly an off-road race, taking place during Autumn/Winter with potentially challenging weather conditions.
There is a small mandatory kit list that all competitors must carry, and it can be quite a challenge with the elevation gain/loss too. There are time cut-offs in place around the course for slower runners.
There are no road closures in place so all participants and spectators must respect road regulations on those sections which are not on trails.

How your fundraising helps
We have set a fundraising target per team member of £200 but you can raise as much as you like, as it will all go towards the millions required this year to help us continue to provide the free services to those who need it. To give you some idea of how you will help support patients and families across Worcestershire…
- £15.63 could pay for a specialist Living Well Centre Nurse for an hour*.
- £90.26 could pay for a Hospice at Home Healthcare Assistant for a day.
- £174.01 could pay for a trained therapist for a day*.
- £550 could provide creative therapy materials for a year, offering an outlet for patients to express their emotions.
