Join the friendly team at Broadway, where every sale helps support patients and their loved ones. Broadway shop is full of quality pre-loved and new items – and our volunteers make it shine. What’s involved:

  • Welcoming and serving customers across the shop floor and at the till point
  • Sorting, inspecting and preparing donations for sale, including steaming, labelling and pricing items for sale
  • Merchandising and helping us to create eye-catching window and shop displays
  • Selling raffle tickets (when the raffle is open) to help raise funds
  • Processing and recording donations according to hospice policy, helping to ensure our donated items meet our quality standards
  • Keeping the shop tidy, clean and inviting.

We’re looking for volunteers who are:

  • Friendly and approachable
  • Good team players, proactive and willing to learn from others
  • Patient and calm under pressure (our shops can get busy!)
  • Comfortable being active for several hours (breaks will be provided)
  • Happy to learn how to use the till and promote Gift Aid to help us with sales (training is provided)
