Ian is a retired GP. He has worked in General Practice for more than 20 years, including practices in Droitwich and Redditch. During this time Ian developed a special interest in palliative medicine. He worked at St Michael’s Hospice in Hereford and gained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Palliative Medicine from Bristol University.
Ian has experience in clinical commissioning, having worked as a Clinical Director for Stoke-on-Trent Clinical Commissioning Group. Ian also has an interest in medical education. He was a Clinical Tutor at Keele University Medical School, an Examiner for the Royal College of General Practitioners and gained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Medical Education.
Ian lives with his partner in Inkberrow.
