The role

We are excited to announce our plans to open our first ever charity superstore in Stourport’s Tannery Retail Park this summer and you could be part of this unique new retail journey for the St Richard’s Income Generation team.

As a Merchandiser & Donations Processor you will have responsibility for merchandising the shop and processing all donations coming into the store.

You will be a key part of the shop team achieving success through the merchandising of shop donations to an excellent standard, producing enticing displays of preloved clothing, accessories, homeware, furniture and much more. You will ensure stock is efficiently processed and quality assurance procedures are carried out.

This investment in our retail operation will help us generate the vital funds needed to continue our care, in a challenging time for hospices nationally.

About you

You will have working knowledge of retail processes and experience of merchandising retail spaces and displays. You will have experience of charity retail and/or sorting donated goods and working knowledge of second hand goods and the ability to identify items of value.

You will have a systematic approach with the ability to follow clear processes and procedures, whilst having a flexible approach to work, to provide additional staff cover in other areas when required.

Experience of working with and leading volunteers is desirable for the role.
