The role
We are excited to announce our plans to open our first ever charity superstore in Stourport’s Tannery Retail Park this summer and you could be part of this unique new retail journey for the St Richard’s Income Generation team.
As an Assistant manager you will help shape the success of the store by a range of retail operational duties including, merchandising, managing stock levels, recruiting and managing a team of wonderful volunteers and much more.
You will have shared responsibility to achieve set income targets and maximising sales, the superstore will sell preloved clothing, accessories, books, homeware, furniture and small electricals.
This role is based on working weekend hours across Saturdays and Sundays so you will need to be available to work weekends.
This investment in our retail operation will help us generate the vital funds needed to continue our care, in a challenging time for hospices nationally.

About you
You will have significant retail experience, with knowledge of retail processes and merchandising in addition to experience of managing staff, with good leadership skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Experience of charity retail and experience of working with and managing volunteers would be desirable but not essential.
