DESCRIPTION:Clay Shoot at Bransford Manor\nSaturday\, 26 September\nMr and Mrs Andrew Grant invite you to join them for a charity clay shoot in support of St Richard’s Hospice. \nTeams of four can enjoy a thrilling day’s shoot with a 5 stand sporting layout\, followed by a 100 clay team flush. \nGuests will be treated to bacon rolls\, tea and coffee on arrival followed by a two-course hot lunch after the shoot. A licensed bar will be available. \nAfter the fun of the shoot\, and following lunch\, there will be an auction and prize giving. Prizes will be awarded to the top team\, top individuals\, and top junior (aged under 17). \nStart times will be allocated ahead of the day\, with registration from 10am and lunch served from 2pm. \nAll team captains must produce a valid shot gun licence certificate. Those without licences must always be supervised by a shotgun certificate holder. Please only use Fibre WAD Cartridges. Cartridges will be available for sale on the day. \nNon-shooting guests are welcome to join us for lunch at a cost of £30 per person. \nTicket prices:\nTeams of four\, with adults £110 per person and under 17s £70 per person. (The minimum age to take part is 15. Not only will you trek on the wall itself\, meticulously built and restored over thousands of years\, but you will also have the opportunity to trek through wild and remote landscapes with distant views of green rolling hills\, mountain peaks and with one of the great wonders of the world as the backdrop. \nHow challenging is this trek?\nA moderate to challenging trip for someone of a good general level of fitness. The Great Wall is built on rolling hills and some sections have hundreds of thousands of stairs\, some of which have begun to crumble and are more like steep gravel slopes. Each day you can expect to walk for 5-8 hours on various types of terrain. DESCRIPTION:Fire and Lego Walk\nSaturday\, 24 October 2026. 4pm to 9pm\nBare your soles and face your fears this autumn with our Fire and Lego Walks. \nOur Fire Walk is a barefoot walk over red-hot embers measuring about 800 degrees Fahrenheit. No tricks\, no special effects. Just you and the fire. \nThe fear you feel on the brink of a Fire Walk is incredible – all your survival instincts are telling you to stay put. Once you take the power away from fear\, there is nothing stopping you. After all\, if you can walk safely across hot coals\, what else is possible? \nTo add to the experience\, you can make it a family event\, with you and the younger ones taking on the challenge of walking barefoot across our Lego Walk. \nA previous challenger said: “I just wanted to thank you and your colleagues for organizing an awesome event; it gave me a chance to give back a little of what St Richard’s has come to mean to me. It also empowered me to do things outside of the box\, something which I ordinarily wouldn’t have the confidence to do.” \nFriends and family are encouraged to come along to watch and will be welcomed into The Green\, our hospice cafe\, where a delicious fiery menu will be available to all. \nTickets cost:\n• Adult Fire Walk (minimum age of 18) – £35\n• Adult Fire Walk + Lego Walk – £40\n• Child’s Lego Walk (minimum age of 5) – £10 \nYour ticket includes an hour-long session to prepare you for the Fire Walk. Best of luck when the ballot is announced. \nIf you’re lucky enough to secure a place through the ballot\, make it count by choosing to run for St Richard’s Hospice. With no fundraising target to aim for\, all we ask is that you raise as much as you can for our care. \nCharity places\nSt Richard’s Hospice has a limited number of charity places in the London Marathon\, which come with a minimum fundraising target of £2\,500. \nApplications for our Gold Bond places are now closed.  \nWe’ll be in touch with everyone once the official ballot has been drawn. DESCRIPTION:Tempo Worcester Full and Half Marathon and Worcester 10K\nSunday\, 16 May 2027\nBook early for the 15th anniversary of these sell out Worcester runs \nThe Tempo Worcester Full and Half Marathons and Worcester 10K celebrate their 15th year in 2027. \nThese races have completely sold out for the last two years\, so book your place early and avoid missing out. \nThe Full Marathon takes two loops through beautiful rural lanes\, starting at 9.30am in Offerton Lane\, near Worcester Rugby Club. \n  \nThe Half Marathon accompanies the Full Marathon for the first lap before splitting away at 11 miles and heading back to the finish at Worcester Rugby Club. \nThe Worcester 10k starts at 10am. \nAll finishers receive a quality bespoke medal. \nEvent organisers\, Tempo Events\, will once again donate part of your entry fee to St Richard’s. Many runners also go the ‘extra mile’ and pledge to raise sponsorship towards our services and care.
