Spring Art Exhibition

Thursday, 8 May

Join us for an exclusive preview evening celebrating the work of renowned Cotswold-based artist Jeremy Houghton.

Come and join us for fizz and canapes from 6pm onwards at The Wood Norton in Evesham for an exclusive opportunity to view a stunning collection of artwork.

With a career spanning over two decades, Houghton is best known for his striking flamingo paintings, an ongoing collection that began during his first artist residency in South Africa for the Oppenheimer family (de Beers). His latest series, inspired by a recent visit to the Kalahari Desert, features gold leaf to reflect the rarity of these captivating birds.

Beyond his studio work, Houghton has served as artist in residence for distinguished communities, including Windsor Castle for HM Queen Elizabeth II, Wimbledon, America’s Cup, and Team GB at the 2012 London Olympic Games. His evocative, tonal works capture moments of motion, light, and nostalgia, bringing stories of extraordinary journeys to life.

An Auction will take place with 3 of Jeremy’s pieces being made available and all proceeds from the Auction will be donated to St Richard’s Hospice.

On the Evening you are also welcome to purchase any work by Jeremy and a donation from each sale will also be made to the hospice.

If you would like to pre-register your interest please contact the Hotel Manager Katie Butterworth by email
