Join our 2024 challenge and make £40 grow in St Richard’s 40th year!
What is it?
Grow Your Dough is a challenge where teams will receive a starter donation of £40 to invest and grow, thanks to our generous campaign sponsors Ormerod Rutter.
Teams should use their creativity, knowledge, and networks to grow their £40 during the challenge. This could be buying ingredients for a bake sale, buying a prize for a raffle, purchasing treats for an office tuck shop or organising your own event.
As long as it’s legal and ethical, the possibilities for this challenge are endless!
When is the challenge running?
The deadline to sign up and take part is 31 August 2024 and you have until 31 October 2024 to raise as much as you can for St Richard’s.
This allows all teams a minimum of two months to complete the challenge.
The earlier you sign up, the more time you have to grow your dough!
What is our goal and why should you take part?
We’re hoping to raise £40,000 in our 40th year of providing hospice care!
The money raised will allow St Richard’s Hospice to fund two months of specialist care provided to patients in our In-patient Unit.
On 1 May 1984 we accepted our first patient and our service to our communities in Worcestershire has continued unbroken since. Since then St Richard’s has received more than 73,000 referrals for people to access its service for patients, their loved ones, carers and bereaved people.
With your fundraising and dedicated support, we can continue to provide free care so that St Richard’s can always be here for those who need us.
