Whilst Dad stayed at the hospice last year, we were overwhelmed by everyone’s support and the kindness that they all showed us, especially to the children. The receptionist would chat to them when they arrived, instantly making them feel calm and welcome. Nurses would fetch them toys from the play room and the lunch staff would assist with drinks etc from the kitchen. Nothing was ever to much trouble and everyone was always smiling.
