Our Waterways Walk is back! Lace up your walking shoes and experience the beauty of Worcestershire’s waterways in support of St Richard’s Hospice!
The Waterways Walk offers two unique routes, guiding you along scenic canals with beautiful countryside within our county. We have two route options to choose from – both of which are flat and follow footpaths.
Route Options
• 22-Mile Circular Route: This ambitious route begins and ends at Droitwich Rugby Club. Walkers will pass 41 locks along the Droitwich Canal to the River Severn, then loop back along the Worcester-Birmingham Canal.
• 10-Mile One-Way Route: Starting at Diglis in Worcester and finishing at Droitwich Rugby Club, this route offers a rewarding yet more relaxed journey along the Worcester-Birmingham Canal. Ideal for those looking to enjoy a scenic walk without the full circuit.
